thank full dog burrito

as you can see from today's photo, i am exhausted. my humans think it is really funny to wrap me up in a blanket when i'm this tired – they claim i look like a burrito. but everyone who really knows me knows i look like a pig in a blanket.

yesterday my humans had all of their humans over all day long for thanksgiving dinner.

i think it might take me all day to recover.

do you have any idea how difficult it is to keep everyone entertained for an entire afternoon? how challenging it is to keep running after the ball?
and how hard it is to keep eating everything everyone offers?

grandma brought me a whole bag of dog treats (and a new ball!) but i must say that my favourite treat was turkey. grandma kept passing me pieces under the table when she thought no one was looking. peggy kept giving me tiny bits of pumpkin pie. what i really loved was the whipped cream.

no wonder i was feeling a little under the weather when i got up this morning. and i really didn't eat much of my breakfast. well, i ate the turkey off the top. the crunchy bits really didn't interest me today. i played ball for a little while and i was hoping the humans would leave, but they haven't yet. i'm too tired to entertain them, but they seem happy enough with their computers.
